We even had to pay to use their washing machine, and they didn’t change our towels once during the whole week. For an expensive B&B, I expected more. There was no internet in the rooms, and breakfast wasn’t included, just croissants and coffee for purchase. The service fell short, and the owner was unprofessional with guests.

The bathroom was clean, the hot water worked, and there was soap, plus a small, old hair dryer. Both the living room and bedroom had working air conditioning, controlled by old, stiff wall units. The bedroom closet was good and had a small safe. Our room was small for four of us, three adults and a 2-year-old, with one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen was also in the living room, with basic dishes, cups, forks, and knives. It was usable, though it could have been cleaner. The mini-fridge was tiny, old, and broken, and didn’t keep anything cold. There was a clear view of the beach and ocean, though the property is far from the beach. The front garden had a small plastic table, two plastic chairs, and two clean beach chairs. Privacy could be better: bushes blocked most of the surroundings, and the short wooden divider between our room and the next barely screened anything. There was also a small, open-fronted garden room full of trash and covered in plastic. The pool is quite big, but at the time it felt unsafe because lots of people were gathered there during Covid-19. Security was a major problem. The garden gate could be hopped over, its lock was broken and exposed, and the room locks were extremely basic. You could reach the rooms without going through the lobby, so belongings could easily be stolen. Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby and by the pool, not in the rooms. Phone data barely worked either. I had to stand in specific spots to get 4G, with only two bars, and 3G and H+ were poor too. The very small TV had no working channels. Reception service was okay and helpful, and the receptionist spoke a little English, which helped. We paid 200 Euros per night. I’d give the place three stars, average.

There was nowhere to eat on site, and the nearest markets were a 30-minute walk away. After we finally got some food from the market, they wouldn’t let us eat it inside the hotel. We also got locked out of our rooms when access was closed. The owner and her son shouted at us and other guests for no reason and were very rude. There were no services.

The location has a very good view, but getting there means taking a difficult, dangerous path. In the room, the mattress was uncomfortable, it was tiny, and there was nonstop cockroach noise, day and night. There was hardly any service, and even towels cost extra. The employees weren’t friendly. Chairs could break easily when you sat on them, and the swimming pool had more rules than the opera house, so it was hard to have any fun there.
