The two terraces make it easy to pick sun or shade, and the pool gets a lot of use from the kids even if you think you won't need it. It's a beautiful house close to the lake. A short bike ride along the path takes you into Colico for all the basics, and the house is also a good base for easy and moderately challenging hikes. The landlord was friendly and accommodating before, during, and after the holiday. I'd recommend it for a stay with children, a dog, or both.

Our host was always easy to reach, friendly, and helpful. We especially liked the personal suggestions for outings, local activities, and restaurants, which led us to some great experiences. Communication was smooth and warm, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the details. The house was quiet and idyllic, with direct access to the lake and a pool that was a real highlight for a swim or a bit of relaxation. Everything was clean, lovingly furnished, and so well equipped that we wanted for nothing. We had a wonderful time here and would happily return. ❤️

We had a great holiday at Casa Favorita, and the house matched its description. There are several restaurants an easy walk away, and the terrace view is priceless. The peaceful setting on the edge of the charming rural village of Collico Piano made it a lovely place to unwind. Inside, the rooms and kitchen are spacious and fully equipped, with air conditioning and heating. The house and grounds are clean, tidy, and lovingly maintained, and even the waste sorting labels are in German. There are direct lake views, a 360-degree panorama of the Dolomites, and access to the water just 100 meters away for a swim. The small pool is also a nice touch. The property is fully enclosed, so it's great for dogs, who can join you in the clear lake water. You can rent a canoe, SUP board, bicycle, or mountain bike, and the owner offers boat trips from the lakeshore. If the owner isn't available, Antonio, the helpful and friendly property manager, can arrange rentals. There's a small shop within easy walking distance, and more shopping, including a huge center, in Collico, reachable by bike or car. Restaurants are all over the area, with the nearest just a few hundred meters away; Collico has a wide selection, including gluten-free options. There are lots of good excursions and sports activities nearby. It's highly recommended if the fixed price for this 'idyllic gem' works for you.
