The breakfast was a real highlight, and the hilltop setting has wonderful views. The shared areas were pleasant and well maintained. It’s a beautiful place to visit, but our room fell short. There was no hot water at the bathroom sink, and the shower pressure was very low, making it uncomfortable to use. The floor drain smelled bad; we poured a little water into it ourselves and that fixed it. Staff should take care of that before guests arrive, especially at this price. The toilet brush was dirty as well, which isn’t acceptable at any price. It was a good stay in some ways, but those issues left a bitter aftertaste and got in the way of what could have been a really pleasant visit.

We felt thoroughly spoiled during our first visit to Umbria. My husband and I were the only guests on the property, and Damiano, Regina, and Maria treated us with such kindness and warmth. The breakfasts were always delightful, and Maria made us a fabulous dinner. We also had fun learning to cook with her, and everything tasted just as good. Conversations with Regina and Damiano taught us a lot about the area and Italian culture. Damiano’s wine tasting was enlightening, too, and helped us understand more about wine and food pairings. We hope to return. It really felt like a little piece of heaven.

We felt at home thanks to Damiano and Regina, who looked after us so well. The building is beautiful and everything is cared for. The setting is a little piece of paradise, with lovely views and nearby towns such as Todi and Spello that are worth visiting. We had an amazing stay. See you soon!

The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is nice, and the pool is wonderful. The place itself is quite nice. But as we were leaving, the owner made a personal comment that felt unpleasant and unnecessary. Mind your own business next time. I’ll never come back. Thanks for apologizing, though.
