Niccolo was a wonderful host, generous with his time and full of great nearby recommendations. We felt so at home that we'd happily give this place more stars, and we'll definitely be back. The rooms are spacious and grand, in keeping with the age of the buildings, and very comfortable. We also loved the well stocked kitchen, the relaxing pool, the magnificent views, and that dogs are welcome. It's right by Colle di Val d'Elsa, with Tuscany's major attractions conveniently close.

Natasha and Niccolo were really accommodating. If getting away from it all and enjoying the countryside sounds good, this Tuscan retreat fits the bill.

Our apartment, Fontanelle 6, was comfortable and lovely, just a short hop from the pool. The view of the Tuscan hills from both places was gorgeous, and the location is peaceful while still being about half an hour from Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and other nice towns. Florence and Pisa are a little over an hour away. We stayed three nights with our baby, and would gladly stay again if we're back in the area. Le Ville sits in beautiful old buildings that were once a farmhouse and are now entirely used as a hotel. Finding it took a bit of effort: it's at the top of a hill, and the small wooden sign on the main road is easy to miss. Still, it was well worth it.
