The shower was the best we had on our 38-day trip, and breakfast was very generous. Staff were attentive and friendly, and pointed us to a great fish restaurant across the street. Both the lobby and room felt clean and comfortable. We stopped here for one night on the way to Switzerland. The hotel is on a busy street, but we couldn’t hear traffic from the room. It was quite a detour from the main highway, though the scenery was nice. The air conditioning wouldn’t go below 23, and even a little cooler would have made the room more comfortable.

I don’t recommend Hotel Villa Molinari to international travelers because of what I saw as discriminatory service. I’d advise people from other countries to stay elsewhere.

The outside of the building doesn’t tell the whole story. We had fantastic hospitality, with great service in the room and at breakfast, and all kinds of helpful service during our stay. The staff were all great, and the rooms had recently been modernized. I’m sure tourists staying here would be happy.

The rooms are very simple, but they’re good enough. The hospitality was so good, with everyone smiling and ready to help.
