The owners welcomed us like family, and the room was very comfortable and spotless. We loved the terrace looking out over the mountain, and breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Italy, with lots of homemade food. If you get the chance, stay here!

The hosts were some of the kindest and most accommodating I’ve met in Italy. They did everything they could to meet our needs, and we’ll definitely be back. Residenza Don Alberto is a real gem. The recently renovated rooms are bright and airy, with beautiful mountain views. There’s also a charming little garden with lovely lavender plants, and the whole place feels peaceful and picturesque. Breakfast was hands down the best I’ve had in Italy. We had local prosciutto, creamy ricotta, homemade cakes and pastries, and fresh seasonal fruit each morning. I can’t recommend Residenza Don Alberto enough!

Our son was already saying he’d happily stay there on his own by the penultimate day, which says a lot. Thanks to Stefania and Graziano for a trip we’ll remember for a long time. We spent a long Ferragosto weekend at the foot of the Gran Sasso, just 20 minutes from the cable car. The B&B made all the difference: our room was spacious, clean, and beautiful, with a view of the Gran Sasso and its natural spectacle. The property was tastefully furnished, with a truly elegant garden, and the included breakfast was generous and full of homemade items. The owners were welcoming, helpful, and quick to share information and tips on places to visit. They also pointed us to equally excellent places for our lavish lunches and dinners.
