The apartment has everything you need, including a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and the pellet stove kept us warm on cold nights. I asked for a vegan breakfast and they were happy to arrange it. Giuliano and his father, Umberto, were welcoming and kind, and always had helpful suggestions for getting around. You can tell they really care about the place and their guests. Between the silence and the lovely mountain and Certosa views, it’s easy to unwind. Highly recommended!

The owner was genuinely kind and honest, and the breakfast was hearty. The home is welcoming and thoughtfully detailed, in a peaceful village overlooking the greenery of the Certosa. There are lots of hiking trails nearby. It made for a truly memorable stay.

Giuliano is such a kind, attentive host, and the property is in perfect condition. You get an extraordinary view of the green mountains around the magnificent Certosa di Trisulti. A great choice if you enjoy nature, peace, art, and authentic food at the nearby trattorias.

The apartment has the essentials a hiker or pilgrim needs, with a stocked pantry, a proper kitchen, and even a pellet stove for chilly nights. It’s in an old stone building in Civita di Collepardo, a quaint mountain village, and makes a good base for hikes, the Way of St. Benedict, or easier walks near the Certosa di Trisulti. One thing to know: there’s no Wi-Fi, and the major mobile networks don’t get signal either. After a tiring day outdoors, you’ll need to keep yourself entertained at home, or head to bed at eight. If you’re staying in for the evening, call your mom or girlfriend before you get back!

The apartment was clean and so welcoming, and the people who greeted us were astonishingly kind. Veroli feels magical to us. No phones and no TV, just a little paradise for getting away from it all 🥰
