Belvedere Resort ai Colli

The rooms were spotless and very well kept, and the attached restaurant was fabulous. The owner's son runs it, serving excellent dishes and showing real knowledge of local wines. We felt right at home. The property is in a great area and easy to reach, and emails and requests got prompt replies. We had extended our Smartbox stay by paying for an extra night about four days before arrival, but work meant we had to cancel the room the day after we arrived, which caused the owner considerable inconvenience. She was extremely kind and didn't charge us anything extra. Highly recommended, and keep up the good work!

The visit to the family olive oil mill was wonderful, and the restaurant food was excellent. I have dysphagia, and they carefully blended my food for me, which isn't something you can take for granted. The owners and staff were incredibly kind, and the welcome and service were superb. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well maintained. It's wheelchair accessible, though the bathroom in our room was very small, even for my child-sized wheelchair. They had told us this when we booked, and I really appreciated their clarity. We just got home and already can't wait to return to this magical place to unwind and be pampered.

Our dog felt at home, and the staff were exceptionally kind and always available. The stay was lovely, in a quiet spot surrounded by greenery, close to activities ranging from spas to visits to Veneto villages like Arquà Petrarca. The most beautiful garden in Italy is nearby too. We didn't have time to try the restaurant, but hope to come back for lunch or dinner. Definitely recommended.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly, but the rest of our Smartbox stay, which included dinner and breakfast, was disappointing. The building and rooms felt very old-fashioned. We barely slept because the mattress was hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows might as well not have been there. There was no hot water in the shower either. Dinner was heavy, with an appetizer and a first course both swimming in oil, even though the appetizer was just a couple of simple cold cuts. The buffet breakfast was poor, with nothing for anyone wanting savory food. The only coffee available there was Americano. For espresso or cappuccino, we had to go to the hotel bar and pay separately.
