Cà Beldì

+ The house sits on a hill with a great view, just minutes from Vò, and could be perfect for a holiday. It's a shame it isn't better looked after. The kitchen was sticky and dirty, the grout was filthy, and the oven, microwave, and coffee maker were grimy. There was no dishwasher. The noisy fridge hadn't been cleaned, its drawers had crumbs in them, and some of the old cutlery was worn out or broken. The kitchen windows were fogged on the inside. The whole house was dusty, so we had to mop the floors and stairs before arriving. The bathroom and shower felt cramped, with calcified fixtures and dirty gray grout in the shower. Some towels and rugs were old, dirty, and full of holes. There were spiders on the bedroom ceiling, and we found two stink bugs in one bed when we got there. None of the windows had fly screens, and there was no air conditioning. The grounds could be a lovely place to unwind, but they were neglected. A dirty hammock and old, broken plastic chairs and tables didn't make us want to linger.

The garden and surrounding area were especially beautiful, and it's a good base for visiting Venice, Vicenza, or Padua. But inside it was hot, full of insects, and above all, dirty. There were no mosquito nets.

This clean, well-run B&B is a peaceful place to return to in the evening after visiting the nearby cities. It's right in the heart of the Euganean Hills, and managed by good people. A quality stay, we'll definitely be back.

The location was fabulous and the stay very comfortable. We also had a garden where we could relax in the evenings after a day of sightseeing. Beautiful! 😍
