Hotel Versailles

The staff were very friendly, but the room had no air conditioning and the fridge didn’t work.

A decent, cheap hotel. The staff were pretty grumpy, though it wasn’t too bad.

I wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel. It’s uncomfortable, lacks basic facilities, and costs far more than it’s worth. They put me in a room that should have been taken out of service, because the shower didn’t have any water. Breakfast was very poor, with no quality, and certainly not worth the price. Of the dozens of places I stayed in Italy, this is the only hotel that has made me write a review like this. The owner’s conduct also showed a complete lack of honesty. After I left a low rating of 4 on Booking, without even describing how poor the hotel was, he told Booking that I hadn’t stayed there. It seemed like an attempt to stop my review from being published and perhaps avoid paying the platform’s commission. I had proof of my stay, which Booking checked and confirmed, revealing the establishment manager’s dishonesty.
