Comacchio is well worth discovering, and Al Ponticello is a comfortable place to stay right in the heart of town and the Po Delta. We had a wonderful visit. The breakfast was sublime, and our hosts took such good care of us.

The hotel has real character and made us feel at home in the charming little town of Comacchio. We loved the welcome and all the tips for exploring the region, especially the bike tour. Breakfast was excellent too. We absolutely loved our stay and can only recommend the place.

We chose Al Ponticello for its location during our trip through Northern Italy, though we knew little about Comacchio. It turned out to be a hidden treasure, full of history and local culture. Riccardo had messaged us before arrival to warn us about an event and road closures, and was incredibly friendly and helpful when we got there. He suggested local restaurants and pointed out things to see around the area. Our room was lovely and quirky, up in the roof eaves with the low ceilings we expected. The central glass shower and round bed were nice touches. One thing to know is that parking costs extra, which we hadn't realized. We'd definitely recommend the hotel if you're looking for a memorable stay.

Comacchio was a real find. It seems to miss the main tourist routes, and that's all the better for it. Sarah & Riccardo have made a little haven here and are excellent hosts. The accommodation, meals and hospitality were all 10 out of 10. Thanks for looking after us and giving us such good memories. Highly recommended.

The bike room is a great extra, and Riccardo knows everything about Comacchio. He feels like your new friend there and is a great guide for tours. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a great shower, and breakfast is so good, with local food. This is the place to stay if you want to visit Comacchio and its natural beauty.
