The pool is lovely, but the villas around it are run-down, and the apartments need a complete renovation. Inside, things were old and dirty, with poor fittings and no toiletries or even towels. There were no mosquito nets, which you'd need in this location in the delta of a large river. The reception was far away and had no sign, the Wi-Fi didn't work, and accessible air conditioning came at an extra cost. I also can't make sense of a hotel renting out sheets, even if that was clearly explained. This place really lets down the much-praised, and often real, Romagna hospitality. I wouldn't come back, even for a much lower price.

It's nice being able to walk straight from the house's garden into the pool. But the pool has a very high step, which makes it unsuitable for disabled or elderly people.

The pool's edge is too high for disabled or elderly people. For young people or families, though, some apartments have everything you need, including a barbecue.

The pool was the one good thing. The house felt shoddy, with plenty of promises but little follow-through. In a house for six people, not even having a key for the bathroom is ridiculous.

The place was okay for us at a last-minute price, since we're not especially demanding guests. The basic concept is fine, but everything is extremely dated. It feels like the money has just been siphoned out, with no investment at all, as seems to happen everywhere.
