We were warmly welcomed by all the staff, especially at breakfast and dinner. Dinner had four courses and was very reasonably priced. We stayed at Hotel Comelico for three nights while planning hikes in the mountains. The rooms were simple but clean, and each had a balcony.

The staff handled some difficult situations with people in our group professionally and fairly. They were helpful and accommodating throughout. It’s a very nice hotel in a beautiful place, with a cozy atmosphere. The rooms were clean, and the food was great with a big selection.

If you’re okay with waking up early, this is a budget-friendly, functional place to stay. You can hear other guests in the morning even with earplugs, though I had no noise at night. The shower was good, the Wi-Fi worked, and the balcony had a nice view. Unfortunately, Padola is a ghost town.

The hotel is next to a shop and the awesome slopes of Val Comelico. The owner was kind, and I’d be happy to come again. I recommend the cocktails at the hotel, they’re all really tasty and well priced.
