B&B La DARSENA

The lack of security and communication left me extremely disappointed, and losing valuable belongings while traveling was upsetting enough to overshadow our entire stay. I wouldn't recommend staying here. My partner and I spent three nights at this B&B two weeks ago. Before we arrived, we were emailed that someone named Giuseppe would meet us, but a different man greeted us without explanation. On our second day, after we'd been out all day, we came back to find the room had been entered, the bed made, and our towels changed. The room hadn't been serviced the previous day, and nobody had told us housekeeping would come in. When I checked my jewelry case, a necklace was missing. I also found that a pair of my gold hoop earrings was gone. We searched the whole room carefully, thinking we might have misplaced them, but couldn't find either item anywhere. I raised it with the man who checked us in, and he said he was the only person who had entered the room that day. My jewelry was never recovered. I can't say whether it was theft or something else. I hope future guests take extra care with their valuables if they stay here.
