BB Rosa blu

I stayed at Rosa Blu in August 2023, and those five days were the worst of my life. I travel a lot and have never had anyone treat me so abusively. The hostess, Renata, shouldn’t be working in tourism. She acts as if guests are a nuisance, rattling dishes and running the vacuum at 10 a.m. so you’ll leave the room sooner and go out for a walk. The breakfast is meager, fine if you need to lose weight, and the bed is very narrow. My window looked onto the neighboring balcony. The location was inconvenient too, about half an hour on foot from Como S. Giovanni train station and another half hour to the lake. The air conditioning was another problem. On arrival I was told that temperatures above 30 degrees weren’t hot, and Renata would switch on the AC when she herself felt hot. I couldn’t turn it on or set the temperature myself; she made that decision for me. Also, the full reservation amount was charged to my card two days before the free-cancellation period ended. If you want to ruin your vacation, come here.

Renata is friendly and glad to suggest things to see and places to eat. The B&B is clean, well managed, and her flat is immaculate.

Renata, who owns the apartment, was really kind and helpful. The room was clean and worked well for a night. It's a good fit if you're out traveling all day and only need somewhere to sleep.

Rosa blu was clean, roomy, and comfortable, and Renata was such a friendly, helpful, funny host. Best host in Italy! The breakfasts were delicious ;)
