Breakfast was served to the room each morning, with delicious coffee and fresh orange juice, a lovely Italian-style start to the day 🥰. The room itself was spacious and modern, with a little kitchenette, a place to eat, and a lovely bathroom. It was comfortable and spotless, and felt like home. The lake and bus/train station are only a two-minute walk away, while Como centre is about ten minutes on foot. Getting in was easy, and contact with Marianna was perfect. You can also book a parking space for an extra charge. I highly recommend staying here.

The B&B is well located in Como, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The room was very cold. The central heating wouldn’t come on, and the air conditioner was disabled, with its fuse switched off in the panel. The walls between rooms are thin, so we could hear the neighbours’ conversations and other noises. Breakfast was disappointing. The cappuccino was like brown water, and the cakes and bread seemed old and weren’t nice. We knew it would be continental, but that doesn’t mean the pastries and croissants should be poor quality. There was no meat, salami, sausages, eggs, cheese, vegetables, or fruit. Mrs. M. came across as lacking hospitality, with little interaction or communication. There were obvious rules everywhere, online, in storage, and on small notes stuck to different things saying what you could and couldn’t do. Breakfast could only be served in the room, not in the kitchen or dining room, and only late, after 08.45 or 09.00. I won’t return to this B&B. Greetings from New Caledonia!

We travelled to Como with our six-year-old daughter. The room was clean and nicely arranged, and it was a pleasant place. Our host was precise and strict 🙂. Having breakfast brought to the room was nice, and the birthday cake with a candle in the morning was a big, lovely surprise. Thank you! Breakfast could have had some hot options and slices of cheese or ham. Marianne answered all our questions quickly. The location is good, near the lake and buses, though getting to and from St. Giovanni station was a bit inconvenient for us. Otherwise, all was good, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the place is very central. I loved the rooms, and the owners were super friendly. Still, all the restrictions made me a bit uneasy. They seemed fair, but were communicated rather rudely: the air conditioning couldn’t be set below 22C, the suitcase had to go in one exact spot, no entering the kitchen or moving furniture, and breakfast only at 8:45, among other rules. Checkout is at 10am, earlier than I’m used to elsewhere, where it’s usually 11/12am.
