Como Happy Days

The flat had a lovely vintage, classy, well-kept feel, like a holiday home right away. The owners were two funny, caring, entertaining women. They hardly spoke English or French, but communication worked from the start with Google Translate. The two rather elderly women even meant to help carry our bags up to the flat. We sat at the living room table and were welcomed with water, juice, biscuits, and 4 kitchen towels. There's construction throughout the house right now, but we still had a pretty decent view over the beautiful city of como. I'm very surprised by how nice the flat, owners, and city are. Definitely worth the money. I can recommend it if you want a nice Italian feel for your trip. The only downside was breakfast. We were asked what time we wanted it and set it for 9:30am. They were on time and served a decent meal of bread rolls, croissants, and a few things to eat with them, like ham and marmalade. We had started out with high expectations, thinking the typical Italian mums would serve tomato mozzarella, omelette, and so on, but that was our own silly assumption.
