Juliet was easy to communicate with, spoke good English, and helped us with all the details. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a good shower and AC. It was quiet apart from the bells from the adjacent church ringing every hour, which added to the authentic feel. It’s in the heart of Como’s old city, within walking distance of st. Giovanni train station and Como lake. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The staff were helpful, and the front desk clerk called us a taxi and gave us cafe recommendations. We were in the area for eight days, and this was my favorite bed. The place isn’t fancy, but it has what you need: comfortable beds, hot showers, AC, and a kitchenette for making or heating food. Shops and places to eat are just steps away. The ferry port is about a 12-minute walk.

A cute, clean, practical place, and the staff were helpful. The rooms are cozy and it’s well situated, though a ground-floor room can be noisy outside. I was woken by the street cleaning early in the morning.

It’s modern and newly renovated, but the Wi-Fi wasn’t working well. Getting to the room takes a long way up the stairs, especially with luggage, so it may not suit you if stairs are difficult.

The studios are simple but comfortable enough, and having a kitchenette is handy, even just to keep drinks cold. The reception is only open from 10am to 7pm, though the staff are very friendly. It’s in the pretty old town, about a 10-minute walk to the lake. There are lots of restaurants nearby, plus a small Carrefour Express and a larger Carrefour Market that’s open 24/7. A great place to stay in Como.
