Suites&Atelier Lake Como

The building is said to date back to the 1500s, and the hotel has a pleasant boutique feel. The entrance is a small door on the street, so you have to look for it. We stayed one night in May, in the room just off the lobby. They told us it was soundproofed, and it seemed to be: I didn’t hear any ambient noise. The staff were pleasant, and the room was a good size. There’s also a nice courtyard and sitting area. Breakfast was simple, which we’ve come to expect at smaller hotels. A very nice stay.

The parking information was misleading. We were charged €40 per day and told there were no cheaper places nearby, but the next day we found parking for €24. The way management handled our other concern was also unprofessional. After housekeeping entered the apartment, a souvenir from our trip was missing. When we brought it up, they denied it straight away and refused to investigate properly. That left us with serious concerns about trust, safety, and accountability. The welcome and smiles at check-in felt fake by the end of the stay. There was misleading information and no sense of responsibility. I wouldn’t return, and if you care about your belongings and being treated honestly, think twice before staying here.

Breakfast was amazing, and the hotel’s charm, style, and attention to detail made every corner feel special. Our room was quiet and so comfortable, with a plush bed and thoughtful touches that felt both cozy and elegant. From arrival, the service was warm and friendly, and check-in was easy and genuinely hospitable. We felt at home right away. We really enjoyed our stay and hope we get the chance to return. Beautiful decor, a comfortable bed, and a powerful shower. The service was wonderful, and the location was perfect. Fantastic hotel, highly recommend.
