Even though the room was small, it worked well as a base for exploring the city and nearby area. It had a comfy bed, a warm shower, and some designer decor touches. The owners were friendly, offered useful suggestions, and helped us carry our luggage upstairs to the first floor. When we arrived late, they welcomed us happily, and there was wine, water, Coke, juice, coffee, and snacks waiting in the room. Just know there’s no elevator.

The hosts were so kind. We booked at the last minute, and they got us checked in quickly even though they’d already left. They answered our beach questions and surprised us with sweets when we had a small Wi-Fi problem, which they fixed quickly. The place was clean, central, and nicely decorated, and the air conditioning was great in 38-degree weather. Thanks for making our stay such a good one!

Irene, the host, was really lovely and had lots of good tips. The room was cute, clean, and cool, and the place is well located in historic Conversano. I’d definitely recommend it!

Unreliable host. We called after seeing a room listed on Booking.com. The site wouldn’t let us complete payment, possibly because of a network issue, so we asked if the date could be held and whether we could pay in cash at the property. The host checked, confirmed, and asked us for our documents. We sent them right away. We spoke on Tuesday afternoon about Saturday. Then at 10:30 PM on Wednesday, a WhatsApp message came through saying, “I checked, but it's not available.” That’s all there is to it. They could have said no from the start. The inconvenience wasn’t our fault.
