Dimora A Corte

The owner was kind and helpful, and I found the B&B clean and welcoming throughout my six-night stay. It’s right in central Conversano, with a breakfast bar easy to get to and a pass available for nearby street parking. A good choice if you want somewhere quiet and less expensive while exploring the rest of Puglia.

Finding parking nearby was easy with a little patience. The person running the place was friendly, attentive, and ready to help, and our bed was comfortable with everything needed in the bathroom. I’m particular about cleanliness, and the room was spotless. A well-earned five stars for being right in the heart of Conversano, where you can really enjoy the town.

The only real hassle was the steep, very narrow staircase. We stayed for a week in the upstairs room, which was spacious and comfortable, with a little balcony looking onto a restaurant. It’s in Conversano’s historic center. Cleaning and fresh towels were provided every other day, and breakfast was available at two cafés close by.

The room was great and right in the historic center, with very good air conditioning. Its location was ideal, and the owner even let us use her resident parking permit. Getting our luggage up the narrow stairs was difficult, though, since there’s no elevator.
