Masseria La Tofala benessere & SPA

Our hosts were wonderful, always happy to chat, suggest places, and book meals for us. They went far beyond what I expected. The included breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of choice and thoughtful options for my gluten free vegetarian diet. The property itself is a stunning collection of old buildings surrounded by a beautiful garden, with a brilliant pool area. Definitely ask for the tour and the history. Our room was spotless, well equipped, cool, and comfortable, and the shower was excellent. We also loved the newly finished spa, set in one of the oldest parts of the property, with its beautiful underground pool and excellent facilities. A wonderful stay!

We wanted a holiday away from the usual tourist path in southern Italy, and came across this lovely hidden gem. Lecce and Laverno are nearby, and the rooms are spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches. The old stone walls and skylight, where you can sleep under the stars and moonlight, give the place a romantic feel. After a delicious breakfast, the host arranged e-bikes for us to explore. She also had lots of helpful suggestions for sights and restaurants close by. Thank you for such a magical stay!

We arrived in the middle of a heavy storm, but felt better as soon as the gate opened. Raffaella welcomed us warmly to her wonderful property, then took time to explain the place, our room, the SPA, and other details while we relaxed in the breakfast room with a drink she offered us. My friend and I spent 48h there and felt like we were in paradise, with Raffaella, the owner, genuinely caring for us. The room was new, stylish, and very comfortable. Breakfast was generous and homemade, and the surroundings, with trees, plants, and a big pool, were beautiful and so quiet. Grazie Mille again for that time.
