We didn’t feel fully comfortable during our stay, and for what we paid, I wouldn’t recommend the place or come back. The room was cold, and although we turned on the air conditioning, it took a very long time to warm up. There was no Wi-Fi, and the room felt short on attention to detail. Getting there was difficult because it’s in the historic center and parking was hard to find. The woman there to welcome us seemed confused and spoke only a few words of Italian, so she couldn’t explain much or answer our questions. We also weren’t clear on the booking from the beginning: we’d booked the most expensive room expecting the one with the hot tub. That may have been a misunderstanding on both sides.

The place has been renovated while keeping its original character. The narrow stairs to the upper floor can be hard for anyone who has trouble climbing.

If you have trouble walking, I’d strongly advise against staying here because the stairs are very steep. My boyfriend stayed for two nights, and while the location in the historic center is excellent, there were several shortcomings. There was no chair in the room to set things on, the LED lights on the headboard didn’t work, and there was no bidet. Breakfast was just packaged items left in the room. It would give guests a better impression if they were offered a cappuccino and croissant from one of the many nearby cafés.

We had a clean, simply furnished apartment spread over three floors, with nice attention to detail. The beds were comfortable and there was air conditioning throughout. Covered paid parking is available close by, and breakfast at a nearby café was excellent.
