Corciano's historic centre is lovely to stroll around, and the town is on the list of “i borghi piu belli d’italia”. There's an annual wine festival, held for a number of years now. Near the restaurant you'll find plenty of paid parking, including two EV chargers. The restaurant is excellent, with both modern and traditional Italian dinner options and an extensive wine list. The food is very good, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere was wonderful, with a great wine list and a typical old-world grotto feel. The food was a real letdown by comparison. I ordered a ribeye medium, but it came out past well done, completely ruined. The salad alongside it was just plain lettuce that was past its prime. The pasta and lobster was only marginal: the pasta was overcooked and fishy, though the lobster itself was okay. We're experienced international travelers, and this was very disappointing.

We found the prices fair for what we got, and the friendly atmosphere and convenient location made the meal even better. There’s plenty to choose from, and the food is genuinely good and prepared to a high standard. I’d come back to explore more of the interesting dishes.

My octopus and potato salad seems to have been infiltrated by secret-agent lemon seeds... And the sauce completely took over my pasta, mammamia 😭😂
