We signed up for weekly lessons at Colleverde Horse Riding School and highly recommend it. The school is very professional, and Francesca is a wonderful teacher who speaks excellent English. We didn’t stay at the hotel.

Four of us spent about a week at this campsite. The rooms by the kitchen were in very rough shape, with spiders, cobwebs, and insects all over. Some bunk beds had no ladders, and the mattresses seemed ancient; some beds didn’t even have pillows. There was also a wardrobe coming apart. After a couple of nights, bugs began crawling out of holes. I’d suggest booking a room on the hill or near reception.

We were there for about a week, and the beds were wrecked. The mattresses were dirty and full of holes, and the rooms were tiny, filthy, and crawling with bugs, cockroaches, and millipedes. Even the so-called bunk beds were just two beds stacked and taped together. Disgusting, and a complete waste of money. Don’t go.

The place was quiet, well kept, and really pleasant, and the staff were very kind and polite. I booked two nights to visit Urbino, just 3-4 km away, and stayed in a four-person room with a four-poster bed. Italy has plenty of lovely places like this, especially in Tuscany and Umbria, but the view from the spa and breakfast room is what really stays with you. It’s fantastic and so relaxing. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

The rooms were roomy and had a nice terrace, but the bathroom wasn’t clean enough and the shower drain was blocked. We’d chosen the place based on good reviews on Google and other travel sites, so arriving to find it rundown, with parts abandoned, was a real disappointment. The pool area was old and poorly cared for, and the pool itself was dirty. We were met rather abruptly, with no real friendliness. Such a shame, since the place has a lot of untapped potential. We won’t come back and wouldn’t recommend staying here.
