A lovely, clean and welcoming agriturismo. The owners are dedicated and great to deal with.

We went about a week ago, my girlfriend and I, and we’re already thinking about coming back to this little corner of paradise. Roberta is incredibly friendly. She showed us the other rooms too, each one distinctive and well kept, and it’s clear she runs the B&B out of genuine passion. Everything has been considered, right down to the small details. The rooms have an old Tuscan style, with modern comforts like WiFi, air conditioning, and a proper TV, not one of those tiny screens ten meters from the bed. The view is wonderful: a breathtaking sunset, then in the morning the mountains have those blue shades fading into pale azure, like the famous Windows desktop. The pool is lovely for unwinding after a walk or a trip to nearby Lucca. Hope you get the chance to visit.

Breakfast on the terrace was a lovely way to start the day, with the mountains and Apuan Alps in view. The whole property feels welcoming, and the clean, tastefully furnished rooms have little touches that show how much Roberta and Alvise care about hosting people. It’s a peaceful, cool retreat. The pool is so relaxing that you may not feel like heading out to see the area’s attractions.

The building and rooms are beautiful, and Roberta was a very attentive host. She took care with hygiene and the furnishings, all to make our stay pleasant. Her resident dog and cats were a little intrusive. The restaurants she suggested were awful, though we didn’t have the heart to tell her.
