The welcome, cleanliness and breakfast were all wonderful. The rooms have been renovated with real care and taste, and each piece of furniture has a story of its own. If you get the chance, ask Francesca, a Marchesa, to tell you about it. She does so without putting on airs, which is meant as a compliment: there's nobility here in both blood and soul.
