Casa del fonte

Casa del Fonte was a relaxing place for us, and we'd happily come back. The area is beautiful, with lots to see and do nearby. It's a romantic setting for a couple and has what a family needs for a stay together.

Our wedding weekend at Casa Del Fonte had so many lovely moments, but what's happened since has left a dark cloud over them. Claire, Michel, and the team worked hard to make the weekend wonderful for us and our guests, and we're grateful for that. Still, we're extremely disappointed by the aftermath and, after a lot of thought, decided to share what happened. We paid a few hundred euros for our wedding bouquet to be dried and set in epoxy resin, as a gift from my parents. It was supposed to take around three months. We've asked Claire several times for updates. First we heard it still had to be collected from the maker, then that it had been sent, then that it was already in the Netherlands, and later that there were circumstances causing delays. A year after our wedding, we still haven't received the bouquet. We had to keep chasing them and often got no reply. Claire eventually said she'd refund the money that day and make sure we had it by the end of April, but neither promise was kept. We've since received part of the payment back, though we don't know how that amount was worked out, and we haven't been given an explanation. We arranged for someone near Corinaldo to bring the bouquet to the Netherlands. Claire had agreed to hand it over, so we thought that would resolve things. But the bouquet wasn't there when that person came, so they couldn't take it. We still haven't even received a photo. Does it exist at all? It seems to have disappeared without a trace. We have no trust left after these promises and what feels like another lie.

There's a big pool that was a welcome way to cool off during the warm July weather, and the spacious garden has quiet little corners where you can have some privacy. As a birder, I loved the panoramic views over the farmland. I was able to photograph a Eurasian Roller and several other species, and watching the birds of prey feed was a real treat. Claire and Michel run this B&B with a lot of passion. Breakfast each morning was generous and varied, with tasty juice and plenty of coffee. Several times a week, we could join them for their excellent cooking, with a good wine from a local winemaker. It's a lovely place for families and for anyone looking to unwind. Claire and Michel, thanks for a wonderful week.

What a great week we had! We stayed at Casa Del Fonte last week because we're getting married here in 2026. Claire and Michel gave us a lovely introduction to Le Marche, from wine tastings and local food to beautiful viewpoints, padel, and lots of good company and fun. There's plenty to do at the casa itself, including a pool with a stunning view. They also organize activities during your stay, and you can join in on padel if you like. Claire and Michel are warm, caring people who take time for their guests and really show an interest. They're always ready with recommendations or to make reservations for you. We feel sure our 2026 wedding will be magical. The photos say it all 😍
