Casolare La Quercia

The pool and tennis and football court were especially good for our larger group, and the chickens and rabbits wandering freely were nice company. The pool staff were friendly and helpful each morning. The house worked well overall, though some kitchen equipment could use replacing, and the bench and table setups indoors and outside weren’t very comfortable for meals. There isn’t a lot to do nearby, and the bigger supermarkets are farther away. The pizza place close by was tasty.

The owners and groundskeepers were so friendly, and even opened the rabbit pen so the children could visit. They also gave us lots of help when our car broke down on the day we were due to leave. We spent a week here with six families and little kids aged 0 to 4, and the place was amazing, with everything clean and just right. There was so much for everyone, including a great pool, tennis and football court, swings, and forest.

The pool was clear, inviting, and very well maintained, and we found the bedrooms comfortable and spotless. The surrounding forest and natural pond made the place feel peaceful, while the lit football and tennis courts gave us somewhere to be active at night. There was also a barbecue area, playground, and plenty of parking. We heard a building for ceremonies and conventions is under construction, which gives us another reason to return. We had no trouble reaching the property, about a 35-minute drive from Marco Polo International Airport. Mr. Stefano Brinis greeted us warmly at this family-run place in the countryside southeast of Padova. The recently renovated kitchen, spacious bedrooms, and lounge areas all showed the Brinis family’s care for hospitality. Mr. Brinis also told us about the property’s history and his father, Dr. Attilio Brinis, whose vision turned this rural spot into an oasis. His suggestions for restaurants in Correzzola were good, and each place gave us a taste of the local food. Venice, Padova, and Bologna are reachable by car, and Rosolina Mare is close enough for a day at the beach. There’s even a place for helicopters to land, and pilots of small planes can use the nearby “Campo Volo Sturaro,” about 6 km away. We had a magical stay at Agriturismo Casolare La Quercia and are already looking forward to coming back.

I went here for a wedding and was impressed by the property. It’s a great base for exploring the countryside around Venice and Padua. Families would enjoy it, as would larger groups wanting to spend time by the pool and in the big park around the casolare. Highly recommended.
