We spent a weekend in a peaceful, beautiful villa that felt like paradise. The beds were so comfortable, and the rooms had lovely Tuscan charm. We also enjoyed lazy days by the pool. Flavia was the kindest host and made sure we had everything we needed. The meals were delicious, and they make their own pasta and wine. Taxi transfers can be arranged, and Cortona is only a short drive away. It was a special stay, 10000/10, and I can't wait to come back. Thank you for giving us memories we'll keep 🥹🤗❤️

I stayed in Apartment Thalia, which shares a terrace with one of the other apartments. Inside, it had everything we needed and felt like our own little country house, with tasteful furnishings. The house has six apartments and sits tucked away on a green hillside, out of sight from the small provincial road. There's a lovely garden and a pool, too. Flavia, the owner, was wonderful. She grows zucchini and an ancient variety of cereal in her garden, then makes pasta with it. We got to taste some she gave us and took some home as well. It was amazing.

The family who runs Il Maggese are so welcoming, especially Flavia and her husband. Their old family home is divided into several apartments, decorated in traditional Tuscan style, with a large park and a nice pool around it. You can have breakfast and dinner there, and I really recommend considering both. Flavia and her husband cook beautifully with ingredients from their own garden and nearby local producers. They also make great wine and olive oil. It's a lovely spot in the Tuscan countryside, just a drive from Cortona.

We appreciated having two air conditioners during the summer, plus a crib and high chair for our baby. The apartment had everything else we needed, too. Il Magese is a small agriturismo surrounded by nature, with Cortona nearby. Flavia is a wonderful host, and the home-cooked food, homemade wine, and olive oil were so good. You can spend time by the pool or head out to explore Umbria and Tuscany. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it.

The hostess at Il Maggese was so kind and helpful, even arranging a wine tasting and a countryside e-bike tour through people she knows. We visited during grape harvest and got to watch the grapes being picked. Its central location also made day trips by train easy. The apartment was lovely, the bed comfortable, and we mostly let the cool air in through the windows. One night was a bit hot, so we ran the air conditioning and it worked perfectly. It was a magical week, and we're already planning to return.
