It’s a beautiful house in a lovely, peaceful spot, with a well-kept garden and a nice pool. Supermarkets and pizzerias are close by, as is the charming town of Cortona. A couple of things to know: hot showers were only available from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and the outdoor chairs weren’t very comfortable, so bring your own if you can. Dutch visitors, there’s a good chance the bed will be too short. At 5'7", I only just fit. ;) Still, the lovely surroundings make those little drawbacks easy to forget.

A top-notch place with everything you might need. It would have earned five stars from me if there’d been sun umbrellas by the pool and if showers had been available at any time. Unfortunately, showering was limited to certain hours.
