Margherita was helpful and did all she could to make our vacation a good one. Villa Margherita Due is a cozy, genuine Tuscan home, kept tidy and clean, with tasteful bathrooms. The pool is really lovely and very large.

Quiet, cozy, and homey, this place is a real gem in Tuscany. The house and its setting are charming, the owning family made us feel welcome, and everything was super clean.

The countryside views are stunning, and the location feels idyllic, though it adds about 30 minutes each way to trips out. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, with a lovely garden and a large pool at Margherita Due. The house is clean, but its furnishings feel somewhat dated, and the bathroom could use a small renovation. In cold weather it’s heated by a water-bearing fireplace, so anyone who feels the cold may want one or two warm blankets. The tiled floors make slippers essential. As of May 2023, there was occasional significant construction noise from the neighbor, even on Sundays, continuously from 9 am to 5 pm. Agricultural sounds like tree sawing are also to be expected. If noise doesn’t bother you, you can have a wonderful holiday here.
