Hotel San Luca

The restaurant terrace has a fantastic view, and the lobby and rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The location is great, with everything nearby. It's a nice boutique hotel, but those plastic water cups really spoiled the impression for me. They look cheap and aren't good for nature. A kettle in the room would help, especially since there's no hotel bar in the lobby. The restaurant isn't part of the hotel, so getting hot water can be a problem.

We came here by chance planning to stay one night, then ended up staying all seven. The hotel is at the end of a main street, but far enough from the noise. There are lovely views from the dining room and reception lounge, and parking is available nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable, too. The service was outstanding. Mariona, one of the night managers, calmly helped when we called in a panic looking for somewhere to stay, then welcomed us when we arrived. He was friendly every evening and gave us great tips about the area and nearby towns and villages. We'll never forget his kindness.

The view from the first-floor terrace is fantastic. I'd walked all around town and came back to realize the best view was right here. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and very comfortable. The bed was just right, not too hard or too soft. Great value, too.

The breakfast wasn't quite what Northern Europeans might expect, but the view from the breakfast room made up for it. The room was a little small, though clean and comfortable. The whole place feels old fashioned in a lovely way, with its own character and soul. Staff were warm and professional. We loved our stay and would happily come back.
