It’s a lovely, authentic cottage with a nice pool. The feel is simple and back to basics, and in the evenings all you hear outside is crickets. There’s no mobile reception, though Wi-Fi is available, just not across the whole property.
Cortona is a really beautiful town, and there’s a lovely local restaurant about 10 minutes away. Shopping is a 25-minute drive. This is a peaceful place with a lovely house and pool, and a really sweet host. It is quite far up in the mountains, with no mobile coverage, though thankfully there is Wi-Fi. It’s also a long way to drive if you want to get out and see lots of things.
We spent three days completely unwinding in nature, with a proper digital detox. The property is let only as apartments.
We were a big group and had a wonderful time here. The rustic farmhouses have everything you need, and the owners are friendly and helpful. It’s a pleasant place surrounded by nature, and I’d recommend it for large families or groups.
