I never stayed here, but I’m writing because of how the owners handled my booking. After searching for a long time, I reserved two nights, from December 31 to January 2, 2022, through Booking.com. I got a confirmation and was delighted. Then at 8:20 the next morning, Booking.com messaged me asking me to cancel because the stove glass was broken and they wouldn’t repair it in time. I felt they were making a fool of me over their mistake, or whatever had happened. They should have honored the reservation, or taken the property off the portal if they couldn’t meet my request. I’m convinced they gave the apartment to someone else, leaving the Booking.com customer at a disadvantage. I’ll never stay there. It struck me as completely unserious, and they didn’t even apologize.
