The pool was a hit with both the kids and adults, and the outdoor kitchen and dining space made it easy to spend time together. The separate, simply furnished units also gave us plenty of privacy. The grounds are huge and beautifully landscaped, with a wooded hillside setting that made them comfortable to enjoy even in summer heat. We had a wonderful stay in this fantastic holiday home, and the owner was incredibly welcoming and easy to communicate with. We all want to come back. The one downside was the long, winding drive to Cortona, which made some of us feel nauseous.

Do plan for the distance to shops: the nearest supermarket is about a 40-minute drive. Also, there’s no mobile phone or mobile internet service at the property. Wi-Fi works in some spots, but only in certain areas of the house. The landlord is very friendly, and the place is lovingly maintained. It’s a lovely setting for relaxing, swimming, or hiking, with an outdoor kitchen and a pretty gazebo for meals.

The phone has no signal here, which honestly makes the place even better. There’s Wi-Fi, and it’s a beautiful spot surrounded by nature.

We were 18 and had lots of room, and the children loved it too. The property is beautiful and very well looked after, with a fantastic outdoor kitchen.
