I keep coming back to Debora's place, usually for stays of over a week. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a mix of Tuscan wine details and rustic elegance, and I always sleep well. Debora works hard and is a lovely host to have around. Breakfast is a treat, with local meats, cheeses and pastries, plus a good cappuccino from Debora. The location is clever: close to Piazza Garibaldi and Cortona's main corso, or Ruga Piana, but tucked at the end of a little private dead-end street, so it stays quiet and feels like a retreat from the historic town's visitors. I've stayed in 2019, 2021 and 2023, and each time was as wonderful as ever. I don't consider anywhere else when I visit Cortona. I had planned to return in December 2017 and April 2018, and highly recommend it.

The medieval building has been made into a lovely place to stay, with compact rooms that are thoughtfully arranged and beautifully designed. Debora welcomed us warmly and shared useful tips, and Janna was just as friendly while hosting a really good breakfast. We had a great four nights and would happily stay again. It's right in historic Cortona, handy for restaurants, yet quiet. Spirito Santo car park, currently free, is only a few minutes away.

We had wonderful hosts, and the place itself is a historic building fitted with modern facilities. It's central for Cortona's shops, galleries and restaurants, but still quiet at night.
