The pool was excellent, and even the donkeys were friendly. We had a lovely room with everything we needed, and our hosts were wonderful and helpful. The location made it easy to get to places to see, with plenty happening nearby, and the view over Cortona was stunning. We had a great time and would strongly recommend it for a holiday in Tuscany.

Margherita Holiday Home is a working farm and educational farm as well as a relaxing place to stay amid history and nature. From the farmhouse you get beautiful views of Cortona on one side and the lush Valdichiana on the other. Beatrice, the owner, is an official guide for the Province of Arezzo, well trained and qualified to lead great excursions. A perfect option for anyone staying in the municipality of Cortona.

Bernardo and Beatrice were incredibly kind and always ready with suggestions for hidden places to visit and good restaurants. We tried "Locanda di GeGe," about 6 km from the rental, and remember to book ahead. Our week from July 14th to 21st was peaceful, with a view of Cortona, a clean, well-kept pool and a barbecue overlooking it. There are mosquitoes, so bring repellent, though they won't spoil your holiday. We'd absolutely come back. Thank you, Bernardo and Beatrice, for more wonderful memories of Italy, a country we adore.
