Hotel San Michele

Cortona was beautiful, and we had a lovely room, a perfect location, good breakfast, and great valet parking. The service from the staff was outstanding. After I hurt my ankle and later learned it was fractured, Amalia did everything she could, including moving us to a room nearer the lift and getting ice. The very kind owner even took my husband to the local pharmacy for crutches. We were so grateful. They have an amazing team.

Our flight was delayed for hours, and by the time we arrived it was nearly midnight. We couldn't check into our other hotel that late, but Hotel San Michele found room for all seven of us within an hour. They were a real lifesaver. The price was very fair and the location was great. Thanks to all the staff at Hotel San Michele. We'll stay here next time we visit.

We had a balcony with a fantastic view and sat there watching a lightning storm pass through the valley. The room gave us the authentic Italian experience we were looking for. The staff were fantastic and helpful in every way. If you have a car and pay for parking, they handle everything: you park in front of the hotel, they move the car for you, and bring it back when you leave.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff always greeted me with a smile in the lobby. When delayed flights meant I arrived much later than planned on my first night, they went out of their way to find me a late-night taxi from the train station. The Hotel San Michele is a beautiful treasure near the main Piazza, with staff who go above and beyond. I enjoyed it so much that I added four nights to my stay. I'm coming back the first week of November with a friend. It was an absolute pleasure, and I want to thank Hotel San Michele for a memorable visit.
