We had a very clean room and bathroom, with spacious rooms and mostly high quality furnishings. Breakfast is served rather than laid out as a buffet, and the quality was very good. The hotel is small, with an amazing view, and the staff were mostly professional and kind. Some, including the owner, speak German. The wine they make is very tasty and reasonably priced. We didn’t try the dinner they offer. The two dogs are nice, though during our stay they sometimes barked at night and left unpleasant messes on the grass. A few things could be better, like having more sun loungers by the pool and more shade from trees or umbrellas. If you enjoy wine and a relaxing break away from busy roads, this hotel could suit you, though it’s on the pricey side.

In November 2018, we stayed at this charming hotel and winery in a beautiful historic Tuscan villa. It’s a lovely agriturismo option, with large rooms and a good breakfast. You can also have dinner there with their very good wines. The owner and staff were kind and helpful, including when we had a medical emergency during our stay. I definitely recommend it.

We had lunch and a wine tasting at Villa Loggio, and it was perfect. Julia was a wonderful host, the food was great, and the wine was delicious, especially the Chardonnay. The villa’s position gives it an ideal view of Cortona and the valley. We’d really recommend stopping here for lunch.

The pool feels like pure luxury, straight out of a movie, and the good dinners and wine made the stay even better. The villa has nine recently renovated rooms, with a clean, modern, stylish look and thoughtful details. From here you can see Cortona on one side and Montepulciano on the other. I’d come back!

A wonderful choice for a romantic night, with stunning views around the villa and winery. The hosts and staff were incredibly friendly and did their best to make our stay enjoyable. The food and wine were fantastic too.
