Villa San Pietro

The setting is picture perfect, and the pool area is stunning. Our two-bedroom apartment was just the right size for our family of three to unwind and spread out a little after a week of traveling around Italy. We were there for three nights last week, and the stay was outstanding. The American-style breakfast was delicious and a welcome option. The staff were lovely and accommodating, bringing coffee to our apartment in the morning and wine to the pool in the afternoon. Being near Cortona and other hill towns in Tuscany and Umbria made day trips easy, while also giving us a great place to recharge. Would recommend 10/10!

The room was stunning, and the peace and quiet here really complete the experience. The sheets and towels were changed every day, breakfast was delicious, and the pool area was very nice. We expected beautiful accommodation, but when we arrived and saw the property and our room, we were speechless. It was just like something from a movie. The location is easy to reach by car from major towns including Arezzo, Siena, Montepulciano, and Pienza. Cortona is only about 10 minutes away by car, and it’s a lovely city. We loved everything and will definitely return.

We found this place while looking for a hotel and only stayed for half a day and one night, but it was amazing. The grounds feel like a huge park with a villa from centuries ago. The four of us had a separate apartment-style building with a kitchen and a nice table indoors and outdoors. The air conditioning worked in every room, and all the little details were clean and lovely. We’re looking forward to booking again.

We’ve spent seven summers at Villa Borgo San Pietro, and the beauty is striking every time. The grounds are exquisite, breakfast on the terrace is a treat, the service is excellent, and the apartment is spacious and accommodating. There are lovely views of Cortona, a gorgeous pool, and an excellent restaurant. If you want to experience what Tuscany is about, book now. Highly recommended.
