Petra and her mum Erika made us feel welcome on our second visit, and the service was excellent. We’d happily stay here again. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily, while the bar and breakfast area feels cosy and has a good selection. It’s a top spot for the views and easy access to the slopes. The ski bus stops right outside, and you can walk into the main town. There’s storage for ski equipment, and in summer it’s well placed for local walks. Petra also knows the area well and was happy to answer our questions.

A cosy, clean place with nice views, fair prices and a good breakfast. The owner was very warm and friendly, with great suggestions for nearby hiking trails. They also kindly kept our food in the fridge each day. The main bus stop for key hiking spots is right next door.

The beds were comfortable enough and breakfast was good, but the staff seemed very unwilling to help. We asked them to chill a bottle of wine we’d brought, and that was apparently too much. When family staying at another nearby B&B came to visit around 7 in the evening, staff confronted them at the entrance and acted as if they wouldn’t let them in. They eventually left the woman alone and walked up to our room. If you’re allergic to cats or don’t like them, be aware that at least eight live in the hotel. My girlfriend and I saw one pee on the wall, and there was a recurring smell from that sort of thing while we were there.

The town where Ciasa Roch is located is beautiful, but think carefully about where you stay. Several cats roam around the grounds and throughout the house. I have significant cat allergies, and it was hard for me to get a good night’s sleep, so anyone allergic to cats, not fond of them or simply not entertained by them should avoid this place. We also got very little help when we needed it. Directions might be available if you speak German or Italian, but otherwise there wasn’t much assistance. Ciao!

We had an excellent view from our room. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and drinks were available in the evening.
