Our toddler had a stool waiting for them, which we really appreciated, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The living room and kitchen had a nice amount of space. The place is beautifully situated, and the local dining suggestions were a lovely touch. Since it was grape harvest season, communication was only through WhatsApp. The breakfast was included, but much sweeter than we expected. For the region and the price, we’d hoped for fresher local options, like juice without added sugar and bread that wasn’t packaged in a controlled atmosphere. The kitchen also had four or five traditional Italian moka pots but no kettle, plus bowls and mugs with random numbering. A quirky detail that made the stay memorable.

The apartment was roomy enough to relax in without getting bored, and the pillows were comfortable. Staff were helpful and ready to assist when needed. We asked for extra coffee and they were happy to bring more. There were too many bugs and flying insects, though, which made my kids uncomfortable.

Alessandro was an incredibly hospitable host. The apartment itself was super cozy, set right in the middle of a vineyard paradise.

Alessandro was quick to respond whenever we needed something, and always kind. The apartment had a welcoming, rustic feel and an authentic character that made it stand out. We felt comfortable there, almost at home. It’s peaceful up on the hill, a good spot to unwind away from the noise. The location also makes it easy to reach characteristic sites and explore the Oltrepò Pavese and its beautiful surroundings. We had a truly pleasant stay and hope to return soon.
