I came back to Cosenza last month after many years away and was pleasantly surprised by how much it had changed, especially the lovely city center. B&B Colosseo made for a very pleasant stay. The hostess was kind and helpful, even though I arrived outside check-in hours. The location was excellent, and the room was spacious with a private bathroom and quality furnishings, plus a few tasteful paintings. I’ll come back.

The room was old and dirty, and the building had a bad smell from the moment I walked in. I had to keep pressing the owner to clean it, and she still wanted me to use the same towels for four days in a row. There was dust in the room, dirt on the floor, and the bathroom was unusable. I paid a lot compared with other B&Bs nearby, especially for the conditions I had to put up with. I strongly advise against staying here.

This was an ugly, run-down old place, with no breakfast available. The wallpaper was held up with tape, and the bathroom was dilapidated, with motorized toilets.

A really good choice for staying in the center of CS. The service was helpful and honest, the welcome was warm, and everything was spotlessly clean. There’s plenty of parking right in the square.
