Dimora De Matera Luxury Suites

In Cosenza’s historic center, the setting is scenic and just right. The place is charming, elegant, and comfortable, with service that’s both friendly and professional. It’s a dream of a stay, and the only one I’d recommend to anyone looking for the best in every part of their accommodation.

We loved breakfast on the rooftop. Everything was fresh and locally made, including handmade bread, tasty croissants, and great cappuccino. There was fruit, prosciutto and melon, and cake as well. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and I’d definitely come back. Our room was very large, clean, and elegantly designed, with a modern bathroom to a high standard and an incredibly beautiful view. The whole hotel felt thoughtfully put together, with lots of attention to detail. An amazing place and a top hotel!

They made us feel like guests in their own home, and served an exceptional breakfast on the terrace. Everything about our stay was perfect and memorable. It’s a family-run business in a beautifully restored historic building. I’d strongly recommend visiting this lovely place.

Our three nights in the Deluxe King Suite were wonderful, and the whole B&B had a subtle, pleasant fragrance. The spacious, spotless room had plenty of space for clothes and luggage, with calm white and pale wood decor. I liked the USB plug beside the bed and the built-in Bluetooth system for playing music from my phone through the walls. The large bathroom had a bathtub, and the toiletries felt and smelled good quality. The rooftop terrace was huge, with incredible views over Cosenza, lots of breakfast tables, lounge chairs, a jacuzzi, and a shower. Breakfast was delicious and high quality each day, with fruit, prosciutto and melon, cake, fresh pastries, and great coffee. Before check-in, communication on WhatsApp was easy, and they always replied quickly. Michela and Giacomo were warm, welcoming hosts. The location in Cosenza’s historic center was ideal, just steps from the Cathedral and Teatro Redondo, and a 15-minute walk to Corso Mazzini. I’ve stayed at a few places in Cosenza before, and Dimora De Matera stands out as the best. The B&B is in a 500-year-old building that balances its history with modern comforts beautifully. When I visit my homeland again, I’ll definitely stay here. Grazie mille!
