We were welcomed warmly by Matteo, who showed us to the first-floor apartment. There’s an elevator with disabled access, and the accommodation is very quiet. The bedroom and very spacious bathroom were spotless, with excellent linens. Breakfast was good, with a machine for coffee and other drinks and the essentials for a European-style breakfast. Free parking under the building is available from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. You’re just a few dozen meters from Via Mazzini, Via del MAB – Museo all’Aperto Carlo Bilotti, right in the city center, where you can stroll and find lots of places serving local food. An excellent example of hospitality.

The room had a little table with breakfast things, a capsule coffee maker, tea and herbal tea, plus a kettle. It was spotless and had all the comforts, from a smart TV and Wi-Fi to an Alexa assistant and wireless phone charging. There’s a small balcony too, and the bathroom was comfortable, with a shower, hairdryer, toiletries and individually sealed toothbrushes. The B&B sits in an old building with a central courtyard, right in the heart of Cosenza and just off the main street with its shops and restaurants. You can park on the blue lines for a fee. The owner was very kind and helpful, and followed the anti-Covid distancing measures. The price felt very reasonable for what you get. I’d recommend staying here.

The contactless door codes made getting in really easy. I stayed in the First Lady, a roomy place with plenty of comforts, and the shower was spacious and worked perfectly. There was even a wireless charger, which came in handy when I’d left mine at home. It felt like a smart little B&B. Super!

The lady running this B&B was kind and thorough, and the place was charming, carefully looked after and spotless. They had everything there, including an espresso machine, tea and herbal teas. I had a wonderful stay a few days ago, and when I’m back in Cosenza I’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it.
