Federico was a fantastic guide, full of knowledge and passion for the natural environment. I highly recommend booking a hike with him. The inn itself was comfortable and spotless, and Federico and Sara were wonderful. Such a magical base for exploring the national park. Americans should discover this place!

The rooms were cozy and absolutely spotless, and Sara’s cooking had a lovely variety. You could tell every dish was made with care, and the desserts were top-notch. Federico knows the mountains inside out, and his advice was always right on. The walks and places to explore felt magical. There’s a local treat at night too, when animals sometimes come into the village looking for food. We had a wonderful time, thank you. P.S. from Fabio: Long live the Alpine troops, long live the 151! It’s a bit tricky to reach, but maybe that’s why this little village in Val Grande National Park has kept its magic. Federico, Sara, Simone, and Samuele welcomed us and made us feel right at home.
