The views from the hill were beautiful, and parking was easy. We booked an apartment for a few days and enjoyed the pool too. The staff were incredibly friendly and quick to respond. The decor has a lot of charm, and it’s a handy spot for day trips. They own the winery across the street, where you can taste local grapes and learn about wines from the Asti area.

The pool and those incredible views made this feel like a quiet little paradise. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom modern, and there’s a communal laundry. A wonderful place to stay in beautiful Cossombrato. 10/10, would recommend.

We keep coming back to the Merlone family when we’re in the Monferrato area. It’s so peaceful here, with an atmosphere that feels almost outside of time. Il Pozzo Fiorito has independent apartments alongside shared spaces, all arranged in a really balanced way. The apartments have the comforts of home. And seeing the hills from the terrace through the autumn morning mist is priceless.

The apartment is lovely, and Mrs. Lia was so friendly and helpful. From the outdoor pool, you get a breathtaking view of the Asti hills. We also visited the winery and had a tasting of excellent wines with delicious cured meats and cheeses. It was a wonderful experience, one I’d happily repeat.
