We got a generous, tasty breakfast, including quiche made with eggs from the property. The B&B is small and cozy, and our room was comfortable, very clean, and looked out toward the mountains. The host kindly fit in our last-minute booking. There’s a bus stop nearby, and Lovere and Boario Terme are both under ten minutes away.

We tried three of the five rooms, and each had its own feel, with a huge window positioned to show off the mountain views. The house itself is beautiful, surrounded by mountains, and everything was well maintained. Our room had air conditioning, a stocked minibar, and daily service. The whole building smelled wonderful, too, thanks to Locherba room fragrance throughout. Michela really went out of her way to fit our group in. We needed two rooms for four people for a week, booked with just one day’s notice in the middle of the summer holidays, and she worked around her busy schedule to make it happen. Breakfast was lovely and mostly locally sourced. Michela set it all out herself from 7.30, with both sweet and savory choices for our family. Just note that the savory option includes meat. We also loved having horses and dogs on the property. It’s a 20-minute walk to the beach, and the restaurants in Lovere are a five-minute drive away.

Michela was so helpful and available to us. The B&B is bright and comfortable, and breakfast was very good.
