Having a lap-swimming section at the pool was a big plus for me. The pool, rooms, and shared spaces were all kept up well and were simple to use. I also enjoyed eating here. There are some really good nearby Italian restaurants serving traditional food; I tried three, each with its own kind of dining experience, and liked them all. I enjoyed the whole stay.

The staff were so welcoming, and they left us a little bottle of wine as a gift, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast had plenty of choice. I wasn't keen on the bed, though, as it wasn't especially comfortable. We stayed two nights and had a good time overall.

The setting is lovely, though it's outside town, and the pool is great when it's open. The place feels stylishly Italian without going overboard, and the food was good. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was cold in October, and they seemed reluctant to switch the heating on. We needed woollies!

There was parking right in front, which was handy. We had a nice room, breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly. I'd recommend staying here if you're in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, the staff were lovely and welcoming, and the large pool sits among the woods. Such a nice place.
